    . The basis of the design

We all know that the education must be fun. Yes, the students are eager to learn English. So it’s very important to develop the children’s keen of interest in English. We must try to search some interesting things to draw their attention. We should make the relaxed, enjoyable stage and give them free learning environment.

    . The content of this lesson

It’s talk about the “Field trip” to learn The Present Continuous Tense. The sentences: What is Mike\Sarah…doing? He\She is…… The phrases: taking pictures, watching insects, picking up leaves, doing an experiment, catching butterflies.

    1.Knowlage aims: To grasp the five phrases.

    2.Ability aims: To use the pattern of “What is he\she…doing?” in the real situation.

    3.Emotion aims: Encourage the students to listen and speak English. To train their spirit of cooperation.

    The main points: The +ing form of five phrases. And using the mean patterns to ask and answer.

    The difficulties: The sounds of “insects, experiment and picking up”

    . Teaching method

In this class, I’ll make the real-life situation and give the task to teach them.

    . Teaching design

Step1 Preparation

    1.Look, Snoopy comes to our class. (在黑板右上角画snoopy的简笔画) He’s happy. Are you happy? Yes, I think so. You all have happy life. Now let’s give him a chant, OK? Please follow me. Chant together with the action

    Jumping, jumping, I am jumping.

  Flying, flying, you’re flying.

Swimming, swimming, he’s swimming.

    Running, running, she’s running.

    Oh, What’s it doing?

    Look, it’s carrying a baby.

    Haha! It’s funny!

   【设计意图:设置情境引入chant 创设英语学习氛围,激发学习兴趣。引入动词ing形式,复习现在进行时,唤醒学生大脑中相关的己有知识,激起学生对于本节课的兴趣和期待。用Snoopy贯穿整堂课,增强情趣。】

    2.Free talk

    即景讨论回答what are you doingwhat is he\she doing?

【设计意图:通过简单的对话,拉近师生之间的距离。】

Step2 Presentation

    呈现短语,并引入句型What is he\she doing?

1.课件展示Snoopy和小伙伴郊游的场景锁定摘树叶画面,教学picking up leaves,对比pick-picking.

2.课件出现Snoopy 捉蝴蝶的情景,教学catch-catching butterflies.

    3.教师拿出事先准备好的几只昆虫,让几名同学上前观察,教学watch-watching insects.

    4.接着老师拿出相机说我们把观察昆虫的现场记录下来吧,边照相边教学take-taking pictures.

    5.找出试管给一生将昆虫放进去做实验,教学do-doing an experience.

   【设计意图:通过课件、情景、实物、等方式呈现新词,直观、有趣、启发性强。】

Step3 Practice

1.Flash Reading男女分组比赛,利用卡片复习两组动词.

   【设计意图:通过比赛的形式与闪现记忆法,调动学生积极性与学习热情。】

    2.大富翁游戏:将短语和句子定为所拍卖的财富。进行竟读和记忆的财富大比拼。

   【设计意图:通过学生喜欢的大富翁游戏,能让学生在刺激、有趣的竞争中,在准确模仿的基础上升华为熟练掌握运用。】

Step4 Production

    1.Snoopy 想考考大家,课件出现各种动作的画面,引导学生一问一答的形式完成本环节。

    2.Snoopy 让大家说说am,is,are 在句型中的应用。(系词am/is/are,必须学会使用它,我用am,你用areis跟着他她它,我们,你们和他们,两者以上全用are.

    【设计意图:Snoopy做引导,并以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点,通过一定的语言情境,让学生在完成任务的过程中把语言知识转化为语言技能,达到学以致用的目的。】

Step5 Progress

    1.Snoopy夸奖大家学的真棒,也送给大家一个chant

    2.所谓心有多大,舞台就有多大,让学生用所学语言分组编写歌谣,并到台前展示。

   【设计意图: 通过Chant的方式,对本课所学主要内容进行小结,前后呼应,让学生在轻松的氛围中操练语言,巩固语言。整堂课以Snoopy为引线,增强情趣。

Homework

    设计一个自己喜欢的场景画下来与同伴讨论。

小结:本课的教学设计,在于创设特定情境,设置应用环节,调动学生学习英语的积极性,让他们真正成为课堂的主人。So they learn English not from teachers but with teachers.

说板书:Snoopy的简笔画创造情趣,并以Snoopy的语气板书主句型。五个短语在中间配以相应的动作画,使本节课的重难点一目了然,清晰、生动的板书有助于学生掌握本节课的重点内容。
